Multifunctional liquid metal polymer composites

چکیده

Liquid metal polymer composites are an emerging class of functional materials with potentially transformative impacts in wearable electronics, soft robotics, and human-computer interactions. By employing different processing methods, room temperature liquid inclusions can be embedded insulating polymers like elastomers to incorporate properties metals while the matrix remains stretchable. These solid–liquid offer interesting, yet complex multifunctional material system. In this review, we present exclusive overview synthesis structural properties, applications gallium-based composites. Common methods control size their interaction discussed. Moreover, effect microstructures on overall is summarized. We also highlight new trends terms composition, printing process, novel intelligent systems.
